I moved to the Middle East 5 years ago due to my husbands job and a year later I started working as a midwife in one of the private hospitals. I was glad that I could still continue to practice a profession that I love even though i was doing so in a different environment. As far as I am concerned, being a midwife is a calling. it is not your average job, you have to love it to keep doing it.
Having worked in a variety of NHS hospitals I was exposed to so many cultures so settling into a new working environment was fairly easy for me. Being miles away from friends and family, I was still able to offer help and support to my friends on pregnancy-related issues birth and parenting. With technology it makes it easy to share knowledge and reach out to women out there. The reason for creating this platform is to empower women and their families through my blogs and courses.
I have been blessed to know Ify as a friend and my favourite midwife. She was very actively involved during the delivery of my twins. Offering advise and proactive support throughout my pregnancy and birth.
I want to thank you for giving me and my wife the opportunity to have the most amazing birthing experience. We felt safe and confident in your care
